Founded by Courtney, a professional makeup artist with a background in film and TV, Riot & Rogue was born during one of the most emotionally intense times of her life: after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. What began as a creative outlet turned into a mission — to create makeup that isn't just beautiful, but empowering. Gritty, glam, nostalgic, chaotic — Riot & Rogue is all of that and more.

Founder’s Note

I’ve always believed makeup is more than just color — it’s storytelling. It’s armor. It’s art. And for me, it’s also survival.

Riot & Rogue was born during one of the most intense chapters of my life — a time marked by both passion and pain. As a film and TV makeup artist, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative a look can be. It doesn’t just change how we’re seen — it changes how we feel. But after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, that transformation took on an even deeper meaning. Makeup became my rebellion. My creative outlet. My way of reclaiming joy.

Music has always been the heartbeat behind everything I do. I was a choir kid long before I ever stepped into the world of makeup, and I still sing to this day. That connection to sound and emotion runs deep in Riot & Rogue — from the emotional chaos of our playlists to the soundtrack-inspired energy in every collection.
